movie just like last time lol. But I'm thinking we would never
actually be so cruel. I mean we humans have gone through similar
things. In our history we have had people come in and take land
(American Indians is one example). But as a species it seems like we
are past this. I think our species is slowly working toward peace all
over the world and we have matured. Naturally we are greedy
creatures, but still it seems like we have improved and equality is a
major goal for most.
But, do you think if we ever went to a planet (or moon specifically)
like Pandora that all our maturity and growth would go down the drain?
Would racism not exist on earth, but would exist when it came to
aliens? I just think as a a whole, humans are getting better, and I
don't see this invasion realistically happening. I think we would be
like the scientists in the movie and would try to learn their ways and
study their world.
But on the other hand....I still agree that humans are destructive.
Because of our technological advances we have been destroying the
planet. Do you think this is just something that can't be avoided?
As we grow and use the earth more to our disposable are we being
stupid?
bottom line: is it really possible for us to turn into the monsters in
the movie?
To the girl asking if I'm retarded....Are you retarded? I'm looking
into the aspects of our species and our traits and and trying to get
opinions on the issue of the human species actually invading another
species and destroying their land if one day this was technologically
possible for us. I'm not just asking if we can go to Pandora
(obviously unreal place) right now and take over...seriously
LoveIsBlind, I knew that about the Indians for christs sake, thats why
I used it for my example. I didn't mean for it to sound like the
Indians were the ones coming in, sorry if you took it that way. I did
say "Native"
nvm i didnt say native lol, but yeah i i realize the american indians
were the native people, not the people who came to colonize.
