Searchlight taps Par sales exec

RodriguezFox Searchlight has hired Paramount theatrical sales exec Frank Rodriguez as senior VP and assistant general sales manager. Rodriguez will report to exec VP of distribution Sheila DeLoach. Appointment marks a Fox homecoming for Rodriguez, who began his career at Searchlight parent company 20th Century Fox in the early 1980s. In 1990, exec took on the role of branch manager for the studio and moved to NY before joining Searchlight as VP of sales for its eastern division in 1995.
